"We just want to have a situation where we’ll be able to control them and have a minimum number of deer," DiVincenzo said during the conference at South Mountain Reservation in West Orange. "We’re going to make sure the county is safe; the roads are safe." - See more at: Deer management program to return to Verona and Cedar Grove in February - Story Archives - NorthJersey.com

Safe from what?

They want the minimum amount of deer possible, not to manage the heard but to wipe them off the face of NJ because to them it is a liability. This is why NJ has the most liberal deer harvests. [spy]

I am wondering where the $75,000 - $85,000 costs come from. Don't they just give out permits to join the hunt/? Maybe the police salaries for closing the roads. Anyone here know where these costs are coming from?
