On his way to Alaska to tape his TV show, Tred Barta recently suffered a rare occurrence called a spinal stroke. He is currently paralyzed from just below the chest down. Absolutely horrible. Sounds strange..but I was just thinking about Tred before I read this. I'm watching a nice temp break forming just east of the Hudson Canyon and he popped into my head.

I'm not a fan of his, but I do know how much he loves fishing and hunting. I hope he recovers fully. With his tenacity, I'm sure he'll be fine.

My cousins husband had one, he has been in a wheelchair for about 10 years now, no chance of recovery for him.
I hope Tred can overcome this.
