I'm new to hunting and have a few questions regarding the Turkey hunt in NJ.

1. In the spring I can only hunt turkey for 1 week? that week is based on a specific permit letter?

2. Can I only hunt males in spring?

3. Are any turkey education seminars scheduled for the spring?
-Where are seminars usually held?, what month is usually held?

4. Can I hunt Turkey from a tree stand? with a compound bow?

Thanks!

1, you can hunt multiple weeks if you draw the permits, 2 Only males in the spring, 3 Seminars are sometimes held at the Pequest education center, check the Division website for details, 4 You can hunt from a treestand or a ground blind with a bow or shotgun , just no stalking.

This year there was an online seminar. I thought it was very good, I was out during week 2 and heard some gobblers, but wasn't even close enough to one. Good Luck
