How do you go about registering a boat? How much?
How old do you have to be to take the boating safety course? Do you need to take it if its just a row boat with no motor?

Once a motor goes on, electric or gas. It must be registered

Nope, only when you put any type of motor on it does it need to be registered.

Thanks, but on emore thing, not seeing anything about a boating safety test on there. Whats the deal with that?

any motor you need it its ofered all over the state my town has it twice a year at the high school adult
night causes its run by the coast guard auxliary
2 hrs one night a week for 6 weeks great cause you learn chart ploting and alot of need to know stuff
day markers chanell markers and so on

It says a boat under 12 ft doesnt have to be registered but a boat over 12 ft has to be registered. The one im going to use is exactly 12 feet. So register or no?

Well it says under 12 ft so sounds like you have to register it unless its 11'11"
