I have a Mossberg 935 with a 28 inch barrel. Im looking to get a good choke tube for it. I would be using it stricly for geese. What do you guys reccomend?

What kind of shoot bbs ts steal hevii shot bismuth or tungston. Carlson makes nice water fowl tubes as does pattern master

I just picked up carlson s buck shot tube and it patterns awesome with number 1 qnd 2 steel and bb. Haven't shoot buckshot out of it yet

Ok Thanks. I will try the Mod. choke thats in it. I will be using BBB steel shot 3 inch. Any thoughts or opinions on shot size for Geese?

BB works best for me and try improved cylinder or light modified. You HAVE to pattern your gun, I've seen quite a few guns shoot patchy patterns with modified choke and large steel. I don't skybust and haven't found the need for anything tighter than light modified. 95% of the time I use Imp/Cyl

bb's with a modified choke is all you need. Something in the 1500fps is a good choice. I like Winchester shells....either drylok or expert.

I use #2 but only shoot when they're in the dekes coming down.

I like BB 3 inch and BBB 3.5 inch and a Patternmaster choke.

#2 or BB with modified choke, you will knock them stone dead under 40 yards. That is all.

Kent Fasteel 3" 1-1/4 oz. #1 patterned the best out of my 12 gauge 870. I also use a long range Carlson's steel shot extended choke tube. All I hunt is traffic and it does the job well. BB didn't pattern too good out of it and there are like 30 less pellets in BB compared to #1. I like having more pellets than having a less dense pattern. Pattern different loads and chokes if you can and use the one with the best pattern. Every gun shoots differently.
