Private Lands Biologist Wanted
The Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ is seeking qualified applicants
for a Private Lands Biologist position. This position will work with
Division of Fish and Wildlife's Endangered and Nongame Species Program
(ENSP) in consultation with NRCS (Natural Resource Conservation
Service). This is an eighteen-month position with the possibility of
continuation based on funding.
The applicant should have a B.S. degree in wildlife biology, zoology,
or related field, 1-3 years of professional experience, and demonstrated
ability to collaborate with partners. Excellent organizational skills,
as well as good writing and speaking skills are essential. GIS, GPS and
general flora and fauna identification skills are desired, endangered
and threatened species experience preferred. Must be able to work with
the public in a pleasant and professional manner. Experience with MS
Office necessary.
