I have a friend who left for an Antelope bow hunt on a 2000 acre piece of private property that is just starting out as a guide service. The deal he got was $500.00 for 5 days on private land-no lodging-no tags-DIY spot and stalk--also ground blinds at water holes. I'm waiting for him to come back and report on his experience with this new outfitter.

Whats the concensus was $500 a good price for this DIY hunt in Wyoming?

I Hunted the same Ranch for 10 years.. first few years it was 650 then it went up 950.... you got a place to stay but fed yourself... Had 140,000 acres to hunt.

Last year I went with a friend and we hunted Public land entire trip cost...Hotel... gas... food... Deer and Ant Lic 1200... 1300 bucks..

Sounds like a good price to me,as long as it is a target rich environment.

I went to Wyoming about 15 years ago and 4 or us each paid 300 for a week long lease on a private ranch....The speed goats were everywhere !
