Tonight I am going to our meeting and will discuss the possibility of how many new members we want to take in this year. I am going to present that we can advertise hear on this site to obtain some new candidates to generate some interest. All our propertys are going up substantially and we are getting choked and need some new members. In the past its been 1,000 initiation and 500.00 a year dues. I will give more details if this is approved or you can contact me individually if your interested at [email protected] There are 15 paying members now and 5 old boys that don't have to pay who were original club members. This is a good club and theres a lot of game around. We put out 230 birds on one semi-wild property. New propertys coming as well this year.
Thanks
(Cat) Glenn

This message is for you Ringneck if you are serious about joining a club and want that first deer he's there with your name on him. No kidding around. Our best property had 4 really good bucks on it opening day shotgun and only one hunter was on it. Thats sad and I told you guys these propertys are under hunted.

By the way the archers try to shoot nothing less than 6 pt. I shot a 5 but thought it was a 6 passed on couple 8's because a little out of my rang at 30 yds. with my eye site this year. Heck my eye site was double vission last year for 2 months and shot 8 deer.I have a cataract getting operated on 12-19-05.Clubs been around since 1946. I sent an info letter to Pres. today and waiting for approval to post it so you guys will see what we offer. Before any decisions are made who we take in all the canidates will be identified and researched and then we might start a waiting list. There has been a lot of interest on this. Remember this is zone 11 and if there are not enough deer shot the farmers shoot them on other propertys around us.

Why is the iniation fee so high? Usually the iniation fee is the same as 1 years dues. just curious.

The initiation fee has been this way for years. Welcome to zone 11 proprty lease rates. This is how we are able to contain the lower member status as well with the high price of propertys these days as well. We have fund raisers but the clubs all know that the the best fundraisers are new memberships but thats only one and done. The dues are still resonable at 500.00 per year.I got in 3 years ago and I thought it was high myself then but it has been well worth it every peny. The first year I was able to harvest 8 deer, turkey and ducks and geese and pheasants. Lots of game.
