I tried but can't post in the above named section, so I'm posting here. I looked through the bill tracker to see what kind of pending legislation there is regarding hunting and fishing in NJ. Is that sight kept up to date or is it true that some bills have been sitting in the house for over a year?

The site is up to date. Each cycle of the New Jersey Legislature lasts 2 years. A bill can sit for in committee for years if the committee chair doesn't schedule it for a hearing & vote. Many, many bills die that way, some good some bad.

Yup & the Committee Chairman that the bill is in.....

Like right now, S2475 is in the Senate Environment Committee and needs to be scheduled for a hearing. So fill out the info at this link and send it to Senator Bob Smith, Chair of the Committee.
