Man last week i got a doe and of course it ran into the most thickest area where i was hunting. It was all stickers and poison ivy. Now i have it. I get it SO bad. I went to the doctors yesterday to get the shot of steriods to start knocking it out.

Anyone else here gets it bad? whats your remedy to get rid of it. for me only the shot and i get the 7 day steriod pills.

I never get it bad...The small spots I get of it I use either paint thinner or gas on to dry it out... Sounds wierd but it works...It stops the itch and kills the poison ivy....

Benadryl, for the itching, ALOTS of alcohol, some for the poison ivy and some for your belly, with the benadryl, you'll sleep well !!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK, when it starts turning dark red its starting to go away, seems like forever.........[down][down][down]

i heard the gas one bfore. i also heard rubbing alcohol, but it didn't work good.

the minute i see spots coming up i go right to the doctor. this is the only way for me.

my mom works at a dermatologist office so she usually i get something from there. if it does not get, better tell me and ill send you something for it. but the earliest time i can get it is monday.

i've done that one last year. ever get caught in the woods with no TP and then holy crap you have to go? sumac leaves does wonders!!! LOL

Yes it is. I see poision Ivy since then and I run like the wind. That was like the worst days of my life. OOOOUCH!!! [sad][down][down]I use to get Poision Ivy Bad as a kid but as an Adult I rarely get it and when I do it is mild 1-5 bumps that itch pretty good.
