I was up at my property yesterday & today to check on my plots...I was kind of suprised there not in that bad of shape..NY has had no rain what so ever...The first plots are 4 weeks old...The other one is 2 weeks old

Well you got some rain now!

I had 2.4 inches of rain from friday into saturday and from saturday to sunday morning I had 7.7 inches of rain!!!!! 10.1 inches in 2 days...I am glad it wasn't cold enough to snow lol!

i left a bucket outside in the rain to see how much we got and it was up to about 8 inches!!!

If weather equipment wasnt so dang expensive, Id try to get us an install right in our hunting spots. The one field in the Chester spot is a PRIME location for weather equipment.

How cool would it be to have a direct feed to your house, of the EXACT weather conditions in your spot?

No that was the official work rain guage. I was at work from 6 am yesterday until noon today! Had the pumps at max flow and couldnt keep up with the water. Almost blew out the tanks!!!!

All I know is there was a lot of rain. We totaled 20 pump outs of basement. Next town over had water rescues, including a dispatch for a dive time for recovery (eventually cancelled). Mandatory evacuations. We needed the rain, but too much at one time.

Your plots look good, Next year I hope to have on in place in the sring, and again in the fall.
