Had a great time today on the Raritan Bay. Limited out on Weakfish - the fish were holding thick in the channel 30-35 feet depths. Hitting sandworms (real and artificial) and artificial shrimp. They are really getting fat.

I saw something today that I have never seen before - my buddy was reeling in a weakie and had it 5 feet from the boat on the surface when a HUGE bluefish swooped in and literally swallowed it from the gills to the tail. All that was left on the hook was a head. That was cool.

it seems that everyone who i have talked to has had a fish mauled by those yellow eyed demons. There have been some really nice sized blues in the bay almost all summer!!!! the other day when we were fishing the manasquan we brought up a keeper fluke that had a nice sized chunk taken out of it.
