First time I ever cut up a small small doe (thanks dave!). Was surprised at how pink the meat is..... is that normal? I think I heard it is. Most older does and bucks I cut up is a deeper red.

I'm assuming pink is gonna be nice and tender :clap: Lotta work for a little bit of meat but if it tasts super yummy I might have to be on the lookout for veal down the road :)

Want me to make you up a burger dave? Or better yet my woman is gonna make chilli with some of it and pasta fagioli with the rest. If ya wanted to taste some of it :)

Thanks the rest of you. I first started quartering it and thought at first something was wrong with the meat. Never saw that color before on a deer..........
