burlington county try the delaware river or any tributaries going to it, ive caught tons of them in there, also if you can find a spot in rancocas creek, or at mill dam in Mt. Holly. Theres also a lot of the little bullhead or "mud" cats in the pine barrens in ocean and atlantic county.

Not sure the kind, but I've caught cats in the backwaters of the Mullica and Bass Rivers. Chum a little bit while crabbing and have a few lines in the water for perch / cats and the occasional snapper blue. Most are small, but a few are worth skinning and fileting. Just hope you don't mind the gnats and mosquitos.
