Has any seen how many pheasant at being stocked per WMA? Last year I had a print out of how birds are stocked daily at each WMA and the yearly total. Has the state put that out yet?

I know the stocking days, but they have a schedule of how many birds per day.

Unless something drastic happens, I see them doing about the same as last year. Probably putting close to the same amount in the same WMA's as last year. I don't know about the others, but Flatbrook was very nicely stocked last year. [up]

I had to move locations at Flatbrook to get birds. Old location was not stocked at all.

My brother and I limited out almost every day at Flatbrook last year. We hunted every Tues and Thurs. We never left without a couple of birds, but 4 was the norm.
I will say that Flatbrook has become more crowded with people also. I've hunted up there for about 5 years and the people have definately found out about the area. That is why I don't go near it on Sat. I'll stick with the gun clubs on Sat and Sun.[up]

I had a spot there that people kept leaving. By last year there were only 5 guys. That had put birds there every year since I started to 94. But last year the put out nothing. THey didn't even seem to out any across the river. I had to move to the "Killing Fields." I always stayed away to avoid the crowds.

I haven't shot a bird on Thanksgiving in 5 years. I would rather goto the killing fields on a saturday.

They also don't stock as many birds there either. However, I have kicked up pheasants there in January deer hunting.
