Drag I'm going to check after work today maybe they started. You pull into the marina right across the street from Chabons. Pull down to the right past the boat launch. you be fishing the bulkhead/dock to the left of the bridge.You'll see a concrete walkway on top of the bulkhead fish anywhere in there.

Drag sorry I didnt get back to you I got hung up at the house.been real busy getting the new business set up and then of course theres the honeydo list. So not even a bite huh? There is stull alot of ice on the lake hopefully this week theyll start to move.

Yup...not even a nibble. Othere guys tried for a while...but then just gave up.

Later on in the evening I saw a bunch of guys there when I drove by. Also, guys where there this morning too (Easter).

Drag, What are Rufus hooks? Also what's the best bait or lure for perch at this time of year? I used to use a small yellow Rebel in warm weather, but I haven't fished the lake in years. Would love to wet a line. Cabin fever and all that.

Phil,I use 3 Diffrent baits for perch. you can use garden worms, fatheads, or a little jig called a Rufus jr.On the jig use either a mousy,magot or even a small piece of worm.The fatheads seem to produse the biggest fish. Last year we caught em by the bucket full, all really nice fish using the fatheads. I've caught em using all meathods though. When the perch are running the action can be fast and furious its a lot of fun.if you have kids or Nieces and Nephews bring them along.

Just to update I didnt check yesterday I will today. The weather is really supposed to turn nice Wed and Thurs. That should get em moving.

They are running in the Delaware around Mad Horse Creek. You need a boat to get out to them, but guy's are catching them pretty good.

I,m from the southern part of the state. I think I've been up to the lake your talking about once.looks nice! We don't have big lakes like that down here.

I went today after work for about an hour and a half and caught nadda. I have to work nights the next couple of week so I'll be able to fish some. I'm going agian tomorrow i'll keep you posted.

Chef we're talking yellow perch but we have caught whites too.

I would really like to fish on Friday morning...but I really need to get to the Layton range and pattern my shotgun for turkey.

I am a big fan of one shot, one kill. Don't want to hurt or injure the magnificent crazy bird.

Drag The perch are in. I went today and caught some nice fish, some small but alot were real nice size. I'm working nights now I will be going tommorrow and friday am so if you want to meet I'll be there.

Guys I went This Morning. It was slow at first but it turned on about 10 or 11. They were really hammering the fatheads I was also hitting them on a little tube like bait called a mini mac purple with pink jig head seemed to work the best.
Couple of more weeks and you should really start to see some crappies
