For those of you who are interested:
*FLY FISHING with DRY FLIES - Saturday, June 18 at 10 a.m. - Wildlife Conservation Corps members Jim Flatley and Pierre Benoist will conduct a seminar for fly fishers with some experience. Topics include reading a trout stream, fishing dry flies and a review of dry fly patterns. Equipment and registration required.
Programs requiring registration are marked with an asterisk ( * ). Registration opens two weeks prior to program date. For registration or information call 908-637-4125.
The Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center is located between Great Meadows and Buttzville on Rt. 46 approximately 8 miles west of Hackettstown in scenic Warren County. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily and admission is free.
From Rt. 80: Take Exit #19 (Rt. 517). Go south toward Hackettstown approximately 5 miles. At the first traffic light you come to (downtown Hackettstown) make a right onto Rt. 46 West. Go approximately 9 miles to hatchery entrance on eastbound side.
From Rt. 78: Take Exit #17 (Rt. 31). Take Rt. 31 North approximately 17 miles to its end at Rt. 46. Make a right onto Rt. 46 East. Hatchery entrance is approximately 2.5 miles.
