If you're using the tube style peep get rid of it and pick up a G5 Meta peep. You won't have that slap noise from the tube and you'll pick up a few fps.
yeah the tube snapped! thanks henro! i was headin up to sportsmens tomm[up] this thing isnt gonna set me back is it[rofl]

that's what I have G5.I'm having some trouble with it being centered.I have Winner's Choice string and maybe it needs another twist?Every time I try a regular peep it's always such a pain in the neck keeping it aligned I always go back to one w/ rubber tubing.it works and kills deer.

I love my G5[up][up][up]. I would use no peep at all before I went back to a small tube style peep.
the G5 comes in different sizes right? id like a smaller peep this time around. whats this thing gonna cost?
thanks dude![up] ill have the boys give the bow a last look over before the season kickoff too[up]
I think I'm going to start shooting with just a kisser does anyone do this? My one friend does
thats what i was using before the new bow, more anchors the better now[up]
Shoot the 1/4" don't wanna go to small you'll have trouble in low light. Also use the peep that only splits the string in two....I had trouble with the tri-config

thats what i was shooting with, ill check out the 1/4 slaw[up] the peep i was shooting with was way to open
Well that's why my friend switched he had a 12pt under his stand and couldn't see threw his peep cause the sun was setting.. He shoots good without it I might try it
00, i started shooting fingers and finally upgraded to something with cams[hihi] 15yrs later i have a drop away rest, sighted pins, a kisser as well as a peep and a release[hihi] what a long way i have come from a old fred bear whitetail and old browning[up] i guess i got with the program and the more stuff the merrier with this new bow! it def helps[up]
Just remember the smaller the peep the faster you lose shooting light!

Timberline no-peep,no problems,deadly accurate
Check out the hooded tubeless peep with changeable apertures (kit). I really like mine:

Same here. No matter how often I shoot, the non-tube alligned peeps always seem to not be fully rotated when I draw on game-last year I actually spent time on stand twisting it myself when ever a deer approached-to ensure it was properly alligned-I've gone back to the tube alligned site
