Anyone ever plant pasture mix from tractor supply as a food plot? Did it work ok? seems reasonable in price, cheaper and easier than a name brand deer plot.

Pasture grass has a lot of timothy and orchard grass along with some ryes depending on which type of pastures. if for cattle you will have some clover and other deer foods. horse a lot of grass. read the label to see what is in there. I hardly ever see the deer in with my horses but always on the edge. or in the hay fields.
