I mentioned the "orange rule" on this post...http://www.newjerseyhunter.com/forum.php?a=vtopic&t=3113&p=2

But here it is again...

Early antlerless muzzleloader starts tomorrow in PA... so according to the rules I gotta wear orange while moving... and then hang the orange near my treestand.

Pretty lame since I am on private land and I know we are all gonna be bowhunting. Oh well... thats the rules.

yep..and the PA. game wardens take their jobs very seriously. I had one in my old Navy reserve unit..great guy, quick with a joke, but man, you'd start talking hunting and fishing and he'd become an encylopedia of what you COULDN'T do. I even had one guy in our unit (NJ town cop) tell me he thought this guy would be an SOB to work with, never mind getting caught by...

WANNA BE's [down][down][down]:(:(

" WANNA BE A REAL COP "

I had a NJ warden ( CO ) tell me one time that I couldn't ride my Quad on private property without Ins., Reg. and a helmet. When I told him I was a " real Cop " and that you can't enforce TITLE 39 laws on private property ( Except DWI ) he backed off. His lack of knowledge didn't bother me, but his attitude really got under my skin. Then he questioned my carrying an off duty hand gun :( Then he told me that I couldn't carry Hollow Points in it. I called the State Troopers in and boy did they straighten this " CO " out. They have no love for them either !!

The only thing worse are the " STATE FOREST RANGERS " ( Tree Cops ):(:(:(:(

Night,

In NJ CO's have all the "powers" of "real" police officers, plus they go through special wildlife related training. Obviously he was wrong about the registration of a quad on private property and the hollowpoint law but it would have been great if he charged a "real" police officer wrongly with gun related charges, as "real" police officers have been doing to NJ civilians for years.
