HARRISBURG - Two days of bear hunting have produced a preliminary harvest of 2,875 bears, the largest two-day preliminary harvest total ever posted in the Commonwealth.

Pennsylvania Game Commission employees processed 854 black bears on Tuesday, the second day of state's three-day bear season. In 2004, agency personnel processed 2,262 bears on the first two days of season, 2,299 in 2003; and 2,022 in 2002. In 2000, when the state record bear harvest was set, the two-day total was 2,559....

JerseyJim & Matty... we'll be in 4C... Carbon County.

almost 3,000 bears in 2 days, thats amazing. Know just think of the numbers we will produce here in NJ in 10 days. PA is a great state, I got to hunt it one day. Is that bear chocalate in color, or just light black?
