Inshore Fishing Capt. Len Forsythe of the Miss Belmar Princess said he has hammered the blues and b [no swearing please] just off the beaches to the north of Shark River Inlet for the last several days. He said most of the slammers are being caught on Avas and jigs. Capt. Bob Bogan of the Gambler gave an excellent report about bluefish and striper activity while fishing off the Highlands Bridge. Here, too, we were told that Avas have been scoring the bulk of the fish. Capt. John Brackett of the Queen Mary said he is seeing the same mix of fish just off the beaches to the north of Shark River Inlet.
