anybody recomend a decent place? have to get skeg repaired on 75 hp Merc Optimax also probably upgrade to a stainless prop. boat is not out of commision and still rides fine but want to get it taken care of before I go to Champlain in May...

Be careful with a stainless prop you hit something with a stainless prop it does alot more damage than an aluminum one A 75 horse motor is probably not flexing the prop that much for you to notice any difference (just my opinion) Skeg guard[up]

I know its not a big motor (75hp) but it's on a fairly light aluminum boat. others have suggested a stainless prop may afford a litle bit better performance but not sure if it justifies the high cost to upgrade.. my aluminum has to be either sharpened up or replaced,thinking stainless might be better in the long run...not sure...
