Hunting in zone 10 Holland Twp. killed a 7 pointer at 7:10 am.
Hardly any activity and didn't hear many shots all day.
It is starting to cool off and cloud over.
Hopefully the deer will start to feed early with the rain coming in tonight.

Over in z8. Buddy shot a doe at 10am. Slow day. I haven't seen a deer and been in stand since 545.

Saw 9 does in zone 6 at 7:38, 1 shot fired at 8:30. Very quite the rest of the morning.

i was in zone 10. little to no action almost all day. had movement after 3. i didnt see any, but my bro got a doe.

Saw 11 does and fawns this evening.
Cooked up some marinated moose loin on the grill tonight and it was delicious.
The kids were eating it faster than I could cut it up![hihi]
Going back out tomorrow in the same stand I hunted out of today.

Hunted zone 10 overlooking 78 about 1 mile north of exit 11. With the exception of rt.78 traffic and the occasional train was very quiet. Sounded more like a saturday than opening day firearm. probably heard 12 shots all day.Myself,son and brother were in the woods all day and saw 1- 40 pound doe...looked lost.

hunted zone 10 too, had a trespasser in 1 of our stands on private property..went to confront him and when he saw me get down from stand he sprinted into the woods before i got to him..getting sick of this trespassing and stealing others equipment garbage! saw 3 fawns on other side of cornfield thought
