Just so you know the largest blue winged olives we have are the Cornutas and they are only a size 12-14. So try a hook in sizes 16, 18 and all the way down to 24 for BWOs.

You just need to slow down and get a few lessons. Hard to tell from pics but your tail is the wrong color and too thick. What color is your hackle? Don't trim the hackle either. Use a hackle gauge.
You should learn to tie buggers and easy streamers.
