Hey guys, forget about the GAL in the pix, check out the smile on her man's face. We often talk about trophy bucks with awesome antlers, but this obviously is a real trophy in his eyes,. Without even knowing the story behind this deer's harvest, I can almost guarantee that it was a very happy and memorable moment in his life.

Nightstalker, you are right about that doe being a trophy to me! I have been fortunate and have harvested quite a few deer including a couple nice bucks but this doe was really special. She was my first deer with a muzzleloader and I got to share the moment with my g/f. She begged me to take he out hunting and I was a little hesitant because I didnt know how she'd react (especially after the shot). Well we got a beautiful January day and headed out to the big box stand we have and sat together for the afternoon. Around 4 this doe came out and I took her cleanly and immediately after the shot NJFarmGirl asked "I wanna get one now!" We got out of the tree and she helped me field dress the doe and inisited that she dragged her out of the woods! How good is that! Since then we have gotten her the NJ hunter's ed packet and video and she has taken the written packet part of the test and needs to complete the field test once she gets home. It really is awesome to share hunting with loved ones. That right there is what it is all about!

congrats on the Girlfriend don't find many like that out there. Does she have a sister? I need a woman who understands my outdoors need's My wife still don't get it and more then likely never will. Congrat's on the Doe also Your smile says a 1000 words.!![up][up]
