You would have to think that will effect a lot of businesses in the Lake area. I don't fish the lake so no big deal to me. I do fish the rivers and streams so if it means more fish for them thats good for me! Knee Deep Club has to be flipping out!

Guess the knee deep club has been doing such a good job the state figures they'd save some money and let them foot the whole bill. What's next we have to stock our own WMA's.

The more anglers... the more future hunters... that's how my dad & grandfather "hooked" me.

Lake Hopatcong has plenty of other fish... besides stocked trout.

It's an undeniable fact that stocking Lake Hopatcong with trout is a money maker for the state. To stop stocking trout in LH would be a negative economic impact to F&W coffers not to mention surrounding lake businesses. This would be a bad move.
