You have to look at each park's hunting information... some are open all seasons...others you need a permit... others only allow hunting in certain areas, etc.

Last week I email Kittatiny State Park to send me a hunting fyler/map in the mail. It arrived today! Their web site said that goose hunting is allowed on Lake Areoflex. However the hunting map they sent indicates that the lake is off limits.

Don't forget to check out the county park systems too. Hunterdon county has some parks that have some decent hunting on them... but the permits are pretty expensive ($35 for out of county residents per permit). The monmouth county park system runs hunts too and it's free.

Imagine doing every piece of ground in the state. Walk it, hunt it, photograph it and write about it. What is it worth. They always will be changing as I have found. But, their is alot.

Till our trails cross,
