Ya driving to check in deer is one reason I don't hunt the early season. Tomorrow is "opening day" for me. We used to have a place real close but they closed the doors three years ago and F&G didn't replace them with a new place. Bad enough it sometimes takes hours to find and drag a deer out of the woods, then they make you drive so long just for a tag. Maybe it will change soon...
