Just got access to a 150 acre tree farm. Only been coming about a month. The property is bordered by woods with a bean field bordering it at one end, a wood lot on one end, and another bean field across the road. The question I am having is where to set up. There is sign all over the place. I drive in and see deer. A lot of days I sit though i don't see anything. I've baited a few spots that look like travel routes but there are a lot of travel routes. The bait piles go untouched for the most part. The days I do see deer I'll see a bunch. Problem also is the workers are here from 8am - 3pm. One of the spots I'm set up on has a ton of rubs and new ones every day. I see scrapes and I'm setup between the scrapes and rubs on a mowed path. Hardly see an action during the day. Most movement at night. Don't really want to scout to much anymore do to the time of year. It's my cousins property and I'm kinda listening to him on where he sees deer in the morning and evening. Also there are very limited spots to hang a stand so I have a couple up and a couple of blinds. Pretty much asking how you would set up, advice maybe from people who have hunted this kind of property. I'm used to hunting woods and county parks so I'm excited to hunt where no one else is or can bother my set ups. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
