NJ Deer Project leader Carole Kandoth will present an overview of New Jersey's deer management program including management goals and strategies, deer herd health and condition, trophy deer programs and more. "Quality Deer Management" (antler point restrictions) zones and the new "Bank a Doe" regulation will be covered, as well as changes for the 2005-06 deer hunting seasons.

The program is this coming Tuesday evening, August 9, at 7 p.m. at the Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center, located on Rt. 46 nine miles west of Hackettstown in Warren County. Registration is required - call 908-637-4125.
