With the questionable forecast this morning, arrived at the dock to a strong NW wind and wondering if today would break the tradition. Told the guys we'd head out and if it looked like we were going to take a beating, I'd turn back. So off Hollywood Mike, Joe O torchee, Joe S Joe987654321m Steve catdozer, Tim and mate Ed went and glad we did as the ride was essentially flat and as we turned to head South for the tog grounds, we came across the mother load of birds with great marks below them. By 8:30 we had a boat limit of 14 quality Stripers (a bunch in the teens) on our Shimano Stradic 5000 / Teramar outfits and artificials including Joe S his first ever keepers. Released plenty of shorts, just couldn't keep count as it was crazy. With the box full and the guys wanting to see if we could add some tog, off we went leaving them biting.

Made 3 Tog drops and couldn't get a good bite going until the current eased and it was time to get everyone home for their Turkey Dinner. We managed to box 8 keeper Tog and tossed back upwards to 2 dozen shorts before heading for the barn. All in an all another great Turkey Day trip...

Have spots for Black Friday and Sunday. Call Capt Alan at 862-222-0913
