Obviosly its best to try different chokes with every gun, however with the 835 I would look for a choke with a restriction of 670 or 675. Brand is a matter of choice. Although I do know many who like the Indian creek. Now is a good time of year to shop around you may be able to by more than one with your buget. Also I no jellyhead seem to shoot nice in many guns.
I'm convcinced every gun barrel and choke pattern differently, no matter what make. If you're having trouble finding the right choke/shot combination, give this guy a call: http://gobblerguns.com/pageshr/menu.html
It will probably cost more than $75, but in all likelihood, will be cheaper than experimenting on your own.
