I need to replace my YellowJacket broadhead target, so I was thinking of getting the Block Fusion, but it's kind of pricey, but if it last longer it's worth it. The YellowJacket was a good target, easy arrow removal, but I'm thinking maybe there is better.
Anybody have the Fusion? Is it easy to remove arrows? Does is last a long time?
Any other broadhead target recommendation? I want one that last a long time and of course they all claim to last longer than any other one, and I don't want to wrestle with the target to get my arrows out.

Yellow Jacket is 20x22x14 $69
Block Fusion18 is 18x18x16 $129
Block Fusion21 is 21x21x16 $149

Seems like you can get 2 Yellow Jackets for the price of one fusion. I always felt broadheads are hard to get out of the block's

Rhinehart makes great targets. To be honest though no target can take the abuse of hammering broadheads into it day in and day out. Rhinehart targets are excellent though I have the 18 1 target.

my theory is, broadheads will destroy anything, so what i do is:
spend the money on a good target (reinhart) and shoot nothing but target tips in it...

then go to walmart and buy a $15 foam block, ruin it, and buy new every year for broadheads....

meanwhile your $150 reinhart will last you plenty long..

The 18-1 is no good for me, I need a bigger target and I want to be able to shoot more than one arrow at the target before I retrieve it.

King...best broadhead target out
I looked at the King, looks good, not too expensive, but you can only shoot one side.

I'm looking at the Block Fusion, it's expensive, BUT you can shoot 4 sides, it's solid so not much slivering to clean up...but how is it to remove arrows?

Get on archery talk and do a search for blob targets. There is a guy from NJ (user name Roman8er)running to GA tomorrow to pick up a bunch of them. I ordered 2. They will hold up for years even with broadheads. If you get ahold of him today you may be able to get one.

On my 18 1 I shoot each yellow dot and the center black dot. then if you want to shoot more move a little to the left and you have 5 more yellows and and a center black. Try to shoot different spots on the target each day. Then you will get really long life out of it.

Archerytalk is running fine right now. Here is the link to Roman's thread http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=930176&page=2. He can not get large blobs on this run. I tried to order 1 large and 1 small but apparently the guys making them can not get the large ones to come out the right density so they will not have enough for his current order. He is only taking orders for smalls. The small targets are like 24x24x18 so they are not all that small. The large is closer to 36" but only 12" thick. I know a guy down in SC that has had a blob for 7 years he shoots 4-5 times a week year round and hasn't worn it out yet.
