Cool!
Decoys are a great tool, I used to use them, but found them too cumbersome. If you can get it in the woods though, all the more power to you![up]
Heres a tip for you too Luknikk on decoy placement.
Have her sharply quartered away from you (facing almost straight away).
If a buck comes in and approaches her, he will come in and try to sniff her butt. If she is quartering away from you, he will have to approach from, or turn and give you a broadside or quartering away shot. Try to let him have it before he actually gets to the decoy too, Ive had deer spook the minute they sniffed the decoy.
Calling in conjunction with the decoy usually works like a charm. Oh and buck decoys work really well too....sometimes better than doe decoys.
If you use a buck decoy, have him angled like you have in the pic or broadside. They will approach them
from the front and sometimes mirror the decoy. They are basically looking for a fight. [up]
