The fishing derby held on Saturday 6/6 was a great success. We had approximately 100 kids and adults registered and fishing in the event.
The largest fishing of the day was caught by a youngster about 12 yrs. old a 13 pound carp
The largest pan fish was a 1 pound 10 oz. Black Crappie.
The largest catfish weighed in at almost 3 pounds.
Some nice Pickerel we taken with the biggest also at almost 3 pounds.
Several Snapping Turtles were also caught.
All fish were released at the end of the day.
The townships of Westampton, Eastampton, Hainsport, and Lumberton, and Mt. Holly police all did a great job coordinating the event.
The prizes and trophies for the participants were donated by:
