MORRIS TWP. -- An effort to reduce the deer population in the township has caused a stir among some residents, who claim they were not informed that hunters would be using bows and arrows near their homes.
Township Administrator Fred Rossi said Monday that he received some complaints from residents of Fanok Road and Hillview Terrace, after the township began the deer culling program about a week ago. The neighborhood is near the site where the program began, the woods along Loantaka Brook.
