Holy cow, my brother got my computer to work... for now.[up]

Anyways, I saw a good sized bear today. Came up right underneath the tree. He probably went about 300-400#. He was tough to judge because his head was huge, and his ears were little, but he looked kind of lanky. Then again, he also looked very long so he may be a big bear that hasnt filled out completely. Either way, it was exciting, he was almost touching the base of my tree, so he was only like 16-18' below me.

Still havent connected yet, but Im learning the new area and Im seeing more deer so its only a matter of time.

What I need to do, is get out in the afternoons more, Ive never had much luck in the mornings.
I also hope my computer will continue to work so I can keep checking in. It has been driving me nuts not to be able to get on the forums.[mad]

I saw 2 squirrels and a dragon fly this morning.

There were does and little ones all over one of my bait sites this AM. Unfortunately, I was working when I went by and wasn't hunting.
I'm gonna give it a try this afternoon.

I'm heading out this afternoon. I havent been in the woods since Wednesday. I did some more scouting around my area in Picatinny today. I finally saw a good buck. It was at least 8 and high off its head. Thats the first decent buck ive seen in the enclosure in a while..I have a couple of stand placements I'll be hanging one Wednesday.

I killed this 7 point today. It was a good morning. At 7:30AM I had a small 4 point come by at 10 yards. At 8AM a small 6 Pt. at 15 yards. At 8:30 three deer came in. A 5 Point piebald. A 7 point double brow on one side.(now Dead). And a pretty nice 8 Pt.I liked the split brow so I decided to take him. The shot was 12 yards quartering away. I hit mid body and the arrow just popped out the opposite side in his lower shoulder. Got both lungs. He went 50 yards and dropped. 10 seconds.
