Jim why no bow hunting this year??
I've never taken the time to take the test and get my bow liscence...[down][sad] My father is a shotgun only hunter so I never learned about bow hunting... I'm going to pick up a new bow this winter and practice so I can take the test before next season!![up]

One thing we need to remember is that not all hunters situations are the same as our own. Not all hunting places are the same as we hunt. 7-10 deer by this hunter out of this area may be exactly what that area needs. 7-10 out of a different area may be devastating to that area but that doesn't mean there aren't areas that need to have that many does harvested. As far as what to do with 7 deer well I know in my situation 7 deer would not go to waste! I take 2-4 deer a year. My father takes 1-3 deer a year. Between the two of us we supply deer meat to about 20 people including me my 5 (soon to be 6) kids, my 2 sisters and thier families and a few others that do not hunt but enjoy the venison. My dad and I are the only 2 that hunt until my kids are old enough and if he stops hunting (his health isn't all that great) it would not be out of the question for me to take 7 deer or more in a season! I would be supplying meat to my family, I would be doing what Fish&Wildlife wants me too by taking more does and I sure as hell wouldn't want to be called a ******* because my needs are different then yours! Don't be so quick to judge without knowing all the facts.... Just my .02
