Took motorcycle up Old Mine Rd on Delaware river yesterday afternoon and was surprised to see momma and 2 little guys run across the road in front of me. Aren,t the sows and cubs still supposed to be sleeping?

usually around mid april depending on weather u will start to see them according to the bear bioligists

with all the good eats around and warm winters i think alot of bears dont even hibernate anymore.

Not this winter. But you're right, the past few before this have been pretty mild.

thats why i dont turkey hunt up there much anymore...i parked at the fairview parking area one yr and 2 bears ripped my rain gaurds off my truck cause i had the window cracked and left my lunch in there..they dented my hood...the worst part is they were on my truck when i came down the mountain...a lil bit of yelling and they jumped off and slowly walked away
