Went fishing on my honeymoon and despite not catching anything it was awesome. My wife of 6 days caught a Dorado along with 2 others on the boat. If I wasn't such a nice guy I would have caught the 53 inch Barracuda. Instead I left another girl on the boat catch it. Man that thing was big and looked mean. Nothing for the rest of the morning. However, I did get to see a sailfish sunning itself (we tried but didn't catch) and a sea turtle sunning itself. It was an experience I can't wait for again. It was also neat to see the 120 lb sailfish one of the other boats caught. To top it off, the new wife wants to get a boat after fishing. Now if I only had the money.

I just got back from Mexico also on a honeymoon. I also went out fishing. My wife caught a nice spanish mackrel. Another guy on the boat caught a 30lb sailfish. And I got one Dorado about 10lbs and a 60lb Sailfish 40 minute fight my arm was shot but well worth it. I will post pics soon. What part of Mexico did you visit? I went out of Puerto Aventuras. Capitan Ricks fishing charter.

I stayed in Punta Brava and it was about 15 minutes south. I don't remember the name of the marina. There were about six boats that left together. The marina also had 4 wheeling, speed boats, and snorkelling trips It was a blast though.

I went fishing out of Mazatlan last spring. Didn't do too good in the blue water only caught one small tuna and a real nice dorado. We spent another day bottom fishing and had a blast. Caught a lot of fish, species that I never saw before and to top it off for the last half hour we were into some good size pompanos....Left while they were still biteing.
