Looking for a good party boat in Belmar or Pt. Pleasant (saturday, end of march). I have never gone this early, so what are the recommendations for fish and boats. Thanks

voyager outta point pleasant sails for ling cod everyday 65 dollars really good boat.jamaica 2 and the big jamaica across the brtidge in brielle are good boats.ling bite is phenomenal this year the cod bite is slow.i fish alot on them boats

I would use one of Bogans boats out of Brielle. Ling fishing is good that time of year and you might get lucky and catch some whiting also. With it being a mild winter you might also have the opportunity to catch mackerel.

Went for ling last week got about dozen,some short cod,a nice keeper blackfish,and mackerel.When you get to spot and feel good structure put on a crab for the blackfish.

tryed mackeral once it was horriable ling on the other hand taste great[tasty][tasty] whiting
i havent caught a whiting since long branch pier days
in the ealy 80s that was a great fish back then over fishing by guys like smitty [lol][lol][lol] almost wiped them out

Yeah they are a good bottom boat and will put you on the ling.
