Hi,
I am looking to buy a cheap .22Lr rifle. I was looking at the mossberg 702 or if I can find a used ruger 10/22. I just want to get a cheap plinking rifle. The cheaper the better thats why I am looking at the mossberg. Also if nobody has a used one for sale where could I buy these cheapest.

Marlin Model 60 will be cheaper than the Ruger. You can normally find a used one for around $100-150, especially from ppl on this site if you're in state.

HI everyone,
Thanks for the information. I ended up going to Dicks sporting goods before and they had the mossberg 702 for $129. I picked that up and 500 rounds for it. For that price I dont think you could beat it.
