Anyone collect older knives? I have a fixed blade Case that was my Great Grandfather's. Leather in the center, brass and I'm not sure what- colored rings on the handle. The blade is stamped "CASE"- on top, "Bradford, PA"- below, dating it to pre 1932. That is all I'm able to find out. The Case website is not much help! There is some damage to the leather on one side and age has shrunken the other rings a little. I would like to repair it but don't want it to lose value.

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

Well cobound... being I watch Pawn Stars and Antique Roadshow I will give you my expert opinion.

DO NOT even clean it. Wipe it with a lightly oiled rag and thats it.

Collectors want them that way.

I wish I could see the photos I would make you an offer.

Contact them. Maybe you can email photos to them. They are very helpful.
