Your 3 day trip extravagansa is with the Viking group out of Sarasota Fl. I beleive they have a boat year round that stays there to fish the gulf and tortega. I always wanted to fly down and fish it and then fly home. You live on the boat for 2 or 3 days not sure how much the travel you'll be on the boat alone. grouper, red and mia with your light tackel. Its a bottom fish boat.

The pacific trips the others talk about unless you have sea legs and are really strong and healthy you better think twice about.

You could go to the Carolinas as well rent a crib for a coule days and take day trips on with the Caroline boys.

Viking Star ship memorial day is a couple day trip for whale cod also you'll work deep water jigging but should be worth it. Thats a good time to go. You'll need a couple hundred dollors in jigs cause you'll get hung a few times at best.

Now thought of this for Trout I wouldn't go anywhere other than the Big horn River. Had the please my self of fishing 4 days separatly while on western hunts over the years. Its drift boat and these fish that are in that river are second to no where esle in the states. You can get a hold of the Big Horne trought shop to arrange the guides and you can stay right there I did 2 times and once in the reastrants 2 cottages behind the dinner that real nice but you have to book long in advance. drift fish or site fish when you get out onto the gravel bars. Thats a great trip and would like to do it again one day. You can go site see the Custer battle fields as well on that trip.
