I'll go first...I really think they are fun to shoot and want to take it a step further by hunting with it.

I have been gun hunting since I was 14 (55 yrs) deer hunting since I was 16 (53 yrs) and bow hunting since I was 19 (50 yrs) I love the outdoors and especially bow deer season. Frankly the compound bow was getting too much for me, in reality I think I could of lasted another season or two, but the crossbow will make it much more enjoyable for me. It won't change my harvest count at all. If I don't get a chance at a 130 or over buck, it will be 1 or 2 doe for the freezer. I think I paid my dues and I feel ok about hunting with a crossbow

I found out three years ago that I have 2 herniated discs in my neck...the resultant nerve issues prevent me from drawing my bow....I hunted with a compound for 11 years prior to that. Since I'm not technically disabled, I was unable to qualify for the permit. Now full inclusion gives me back the opportunity I'd lost. Looking forward to seeing the leaves change from a treestand again.....
