was in my stand at 5:45 a.m. All kinds of movement from 6 - 6:15, couldn't see anything, sun came up, nothing until a deer club came through, saw a doe about 35 yards in front, but I couldn't get a clear shot. Didn't see anything else the rest of the day. Congrats on the Big Deer.

Lets just say that I think the deer in PA have gone south for the winter!! [down] This is the worst season PA has ever had. I have spoken with alot of hunters and no one is seeing anything anywhere!!!! Today we went out this morning in the drizzle and only seen 3 does and 1 spike, and all of the deer were way far away. I also spoke with nightstalker911 and they didnt see anything today either. He is leaving early cause they are frustrated!!! I am doing the same and coming back in a few hours, and gonna try it again saturday. Hope something changes soon!!!

Back from Zone 2. 3 shots heard from 7--7.30am and then nothing until my Dad took a good sized doe at 9am. He was psyched and took it from his swamp stand. When he was gutting her out he spooked a good sized group of deer.

I got skunked and took the oppty to post part of the farm, trim my gun stand and bask in my Dad's glow.

I just got back from my spot in 10. I got in about 6:15 AM. Didn't see anything until 8:00AM when a mature doe busted out of a chute into the field about 150 yards away - no shot. I moved my stand closer to where she came out and after an hour or so saw 5 smaller deer following what looked like a button to me. While I had my scope on the button I decided not to take the shot. I have mixed feelings about shooting immature deer. Right now I wish I took him. Oh well.

I was out in Zone 15 and had the woods to myself. Absolutely to myself, no people...no deer[down]

Just in from the evening post. Hunted zone 10 off Crabapple Rd. Seen nothing but bucks tonight, no doe. Nothing of size, just scrub bucks.
PS Razorsharp, apologize if I got you confused with someone else. Give me a meeting location in Holland, I'll buy you breakfast and call it even. Small world that you hunt that area, that's my second best spot........

I hunted till 11AM and saw 3 Doe. In the afternoon I had a Doe with a broken leg come by at 70 yards.I was only going to shoot her to be ethical, but no shots were presented.
My friend missed a 6 point at 10:30AM.

While I had my scope on the button I decided not to take the shot. I have mixed feelings about shooting immature deer. Right now I wish I took him. Oh well.

Why would you be sorry about not shooting a button buck?
