I think this is zone 2.. please advise. Today about a mile heading towards the Layton store... a hen flew across the road. Then I saw 4 other hens and a puffy tom. The tom was in the woods.

Looks like a good stop too. Oh well... I'll be hunting zone 7 turkey.

Oh yeah... the range results: gobbler at 30 yards or less = toast.

Where is the layton store?
Is that the one in town after you make that right off of 206 going towards the range?

I saw the turkeys across from the place where they store the town's plows (and road salt storage). Seems like a decent area for turkey... in the woods... across from the fields.

Man that gobbler I saw got me excited... he was all puffy.
