I'm the last person to get all sanctiminious with people so please don't take this question the wrong way:-

Aren't there laws about harrassing game? If so, where does one draw the line between driving and harrassing deer?

I'm asking because I'm kind of on the fence with whether or not it's ethical in the winter when animals need to conserve energy and I'm wondering what the rest of you think.

Deer Drives are ethical and legal.

I don't drive but until the game code changes - deer may be hunted this way.

Harassing game can be construed as something different, where the results and intiatives have nothing to do with hunting. Example: animal rights activists purposefully drive wildlife from their habitat onto roads and private property away from designated hunting lands. I've heard of more than one instance where moonbats drove deer towards hunters!

You should experience a drive to understand the difference b/w harassment.

If you hunt pheasant without dogs you can 'beat' the fields similar to a drive.
