If you transfer legal ownership of a couple long guns, lets say a rifle and a shotgun to a family member but you want to borrow them for the range and store in your home in the meantime this is legal correct? Both parties have FID cards and yes i know "FID is just for purchase bla bla bla". Just a simple scenario

No one will ever know there is no record kept for long guns as long as you have you FID card no one will bother you just say its yours end of story.Handguns are a different story here in NJ
